I did. Getting home took a lot longer than I would have liked, but I arrived safe and sound.

\o/ So far it looks like my trip to NZ is not going ahead as planned unless things change overnight because there are no Qantas flights out.

Yeah, all the flights to Melbourne were cancelled when I flew out, so there were a lot of cranky people in the airport. Are any other airlines going? Maybe you could change from a flight to a cruise over there :p
