Dinner plans

We are hoping to organise dinner bookings for the Saturday and Sunday nights after Sinpoz for those who wish to attend. Costs of meals is not included in registration.

Please comment here if you are interested in Saturday night, Sunday night or both. Please also advise of any dietary requirements, we will do our best to accommodate as many as possible.

Suggestions of dinner venues close to the Castlereagh Boutique Hotel are more than welcome, especially if you have specific dietary requirements that they meet.

Sunday night is the Easter Sunday public holiday, so this may restrict our options.

Please let us know if you have any questions!

Interested in both! :)

I can't eat shellfish (including shrimp paste), so any place with vegetarian options will cover me.

I was all like "oh I never eat in the city" but I've been to both of these places, haha. I'm in!

Yvette and I are up for one of them, but is it okay if we decide which once we see the options? I’m on a very restricted diet at the moment and hoping to be a bit less restricted by then but will have to see.

Up for both! Gluten-free — I’ll have a look around and see if I can find anything on google maps that’s close that works.

I'm interested in dinner both nights, thanks! I'm not good with chilli, but can usually find something at most restaurants that works for me. Except Korean, which seems to have chilli in nearly every dish?

Did some googling to see what was around - not a lot open around there on a Sunday evening.

This place looked nice and is open Sunday nights: https://www.estebanrestaurant.com.au/ Their menu labels GF, vegetarian and dairy free options, which is enouraging.

I thought this place looked good too: https://alphadining.com.au/ Modern Greek cuisine, also labels vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free options.

Keen for both dinners. I am pescatarian and pretty flexible on cuisine types.

Edinburgh Castle Hotel on Bathurst/Pitt does reliable pub food. Looks like it's open but would need to call for a booking.

The Bavarian at World Square is open both days

Medusa is open on Saturday (though I'm not sure this would be any cheaper than Alpha, which is closer)
