[identity profile] erilyn.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] sinpozium
Thank you all so much - I think I can speak for [livejournal.com profile] alasen too when I say we had an awesome weekend, and I really hope everyone else enjoyed it as much as we did.

After such a fannish intensive weekend, we're all gonna wake up tomorrow wondering something like "who told me about an awesome sounding story? I think it was about two guys..." or "what was the name of the book about the thing that people were talking about?" or "who offered to send me a copy of something?"

Please comment here if you've got recs to share or seek, or anything else you'd like to ask people about stuff that came up over the weekend.

Dare, Truth or Promise (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/357625.Dare_Truth_or_Promise) - Paula Boock, the very sweet lesbian YA novel I mentioned this morning! It's delightful. It may have dated a little bit, but Chris and I both think it's still pretty nice. (Also, ignore the idiot one star review whining about the New Zealand slang in it. *eyeroll*)

(hopefully that expands ok, if not let me know, ps will delete this file in a few days/when i remember)

I realised I completely forgot to talk about the two awesome female characters in the Macdonald Hall novels, Cathy & Diane, who are Bruno & Boot's counterparts at the girl's boarding school across the road, and worse than Bruno and more people should write about them <3

As requested. cc from my journal:

Kindle Collection Manager - requested by [info]erilyn

What's this then?

The Kindle Collection Manager gives you complete control over your eBook and AudioBook collections from your PC. Using familiar techniques (drag and drop, file rename, copy and paste, right mouse button context menus etc.) in a Microsoft Windows™ environment you can quickly and painlessly organise hundreds or thousands of eBooks into sensible and intuitive collections.

Not only does it help with the creation of eBook collections, it also adds these useful features...

Drag and drop eBooks into and between collections
Create collections from folders and their contents
Use non-English languages for collection names i.e. Chinese, Russian, Greek, Thai, Japanese etc.
New "1 touch sync" feature that can automatically synchronise all your folders and subfolders into collections - in seconds!

With thank you to [info]kassy_syd
